RIDGEFIELD, Conn. (Jan. 31, 2012) – Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, a leading residential real estate brokerage company in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y., today announced it has acquired the assets of Alaimo & Barile LLC, which does business as Alaimo & Barile Real Estate in north central Connecticut. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage welcomes the real estate agents of the former Alaimo & Barile Real Estate to its team serving communities throughout Hartford and Tolland Counties.
Alaimo & Barile Real Estate co-owners Robert Alaimo, Michael Barile and Jody Cox will remain with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in a sales capacity, along with Cheryl Alaimo.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Foundation Raises Nearly $22,000 For My Sisters’ Place
HARTFORD, Conn. (Sept. 27, 2011) – The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Foundation recently raised nearly $22,000 for My Sisters’ Place, a Hartford nonprofit organization working to end homelessness, through its annual golf tournament. The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y., has provided significant financial support to My Sisters’ Place (MSP) over the last 12 years.

The Company also hosted its annual Build-A-Basket fundraiser, through which more than $7,600 was raised for its 2011 Community Partners: Pet Peeves and the American Red Cross on Long Island.

Its services include hurricane emergency preparedness, child care training and youth services.
The Company’s charitable arm, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares, has raised tens of thousands of dollars for its Community Partners over the past five years. This year, 17 unique baskets designed by each of the Company’s 15 regional branch offices, as well as Home Office and Primary Service partners, were raffled at the Summer White Party.
