Community Involvement
Committed to improving the community and lives of area residents, Jeff currently holds positions in the Wilton Kiwanis Club, the Friends of Ambler Farm and the Silvermine Community Association. He conducts an annual event providing free household items and clothing to hundreds of area families, recently spent a week to restore New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, and participates in Americares Homefront renovation projects. Jeff served on the Long-Range planning committee for Wilton Public Schools, and has been involved with in-class programs. Jeff also serves on the Town’s Memorial Day Parade planning committee and will be the Parade Chairman in 2008. He is a current and charter member of Wilton’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), assisting local police and fire departments.
Personal Background
Jeff has served in the U.S. Navy since being commissioned in 1986, and currently holds the rank of Commander in the Naval Reserves. He has been awarded 11 personal and unit decorations, including the Navy & Marine Corp Achievement Medal. His professional sales career, since completing active Naval service in 1990, include many years in the healthcare industry (pharmaceutical/devices/diagnostics) as well as multi-media communication services to global financial clients like Merrill Lynch.
