About me

Business Philosophy

The purchase and sale of a home is the most emotional sale on the planet, and I love it because of this.  I can make all the promises in the world.  In the end, I only care about one question.  How well did I perform?

Before becoming a Realtor, I spent two decades as a headhunter in Accounting and Finance, working with everything from Fortune 500 companies to smaller, entrepreneurial concerns.  Hiring the right people can make or break a career.  Finding the right job can do the same.  I managed expectations during an important time in a person's life and saw that things went smoothly.

By the way, if that sounds like helping people buy and sell a home, it's because it is.  The two fields are very similar.

So many things are tied in with our work and where we live.  Both processes can be life changing events, whether they're the first home or whether we're contemplating selling the home where you raised your family.  I consider my role as a Realtor to be one of great responsibility, and I take this very seriously.  To me, few things are more rewarding than being there for people during the process.

Personal Background

I grew up in Darien, moved to Boston after college and moved back to Manhattan.  Then, I got married and moved to Fairfield in 2000.  I became a father in 2002.  In 2006, when I realized I was never at home and never seeing my family, I realized that we only have one shot to raise our children and did some soul searching.  I've always loved sales, but I can't sell just anything.  I thought about how, as a headhunter, when someone asked me about where to live, I was able to talk about each town easily and with enthusiasm, especially Fairfield.  I did a gut check and took the leap.  I knew it was going to be a challenge, but I committed to it.

It's one of the best decisions I've ever made.
