Personal Background

Born and raised in Monmouth County, NJ.  Worked as an FBI bilingual tour guide; full-time mother; data entry processor; various sales positions selling cosmetics, upscale furniture and antique prints.  I know what it is to move and find a new home and life in each new town.   My husband, John, is a retired Air Force officer and is now serving as the pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.  We have been married since 1983 and lived in North Dakota, California, Nebraska, Alabama, Indiana, Connecticut, Georgia and now back to NJ since 2000. 

My son Brian, has served in the Army and saw much action in Iraq and Afghanistan.  He has the Purple Heart and Infantry Combat Badge.  He is living in Colorado Springs, CO.  My daughter, Amanda, is married and lives in Marietta, GA. She is finishing her masters degree to be a school counselor.
