GOING GREEN WITH YOUR FLOORS:
While it may sound like a contradiction, it’s now very possible to install new floors and be green at the same time. Here at Floor Coverings International where we “bring the store to your door,” we offer a wide array of green products.
If you’re looking at hardwood, we design and install Bamboo and cork – both are replenished every 5-7 years. They’ve become very fashionable – not only because they are good for the environment, but also because they are exotic and beautiful, and now come in a large variety of colors.
If you’re looking at carpeting or area rugs, you might be pleasantly surprised to learn that most of our nylon products from Shaw are recyclable. And, Shaw now offers their new Anso line that is made from recycled fiber and is also recyclable. And, of course, we do offer natural fibers including wool, sisal and jute.
