Business Philosophy
If you are a buyer or a seller, you know that you need to take great care to make sure things move forward to the eventual goal of marriage of needs and wants. I will do my best to get you there smoothly, because I listen very carefully to what you say and then work from that angle as the basis for all decisions. I am your advocate, your negotiator and your confidant!

Areas of Expertise
My career in real estate began over 17 years ago with a global relocation firm specializing in finding homes for employees transferring from abroad. With New York City in our backyard, clients were from all over the world with diverse needs and challenges. I handled all real estate issues ranging from lease negotiations to sales contracts to property management and investment properties. But where I mattered most was the fact that I was the "link" to all the resources necessary to make this new world less strange and more welcoming. The right school, the understanding doctor, a compatible tutor or special needs program and even specialty food stores. I am a seasoned real estate broker but I take a step further to make sure the house becomes a home.

Personal Background
Born of Chinese parents and raised in Tokyo, I was blessed with the opportunity to study among schoolmates from all corners of the world. Classes were taught in English but it wasn't unusual to hear Japanese, French & even Arabic . School fairs were equivalent to world bazaars with parents eagerly tending to their yakitoris,Swedish meatballs and Russian piroshkis. It is where my values were deeply engrained - the respect for diversity and compassion for humankind.
In college where the Jesuits got hold of me and taught me a thing or two about clarity of thought, attention to detail and the art of persuasion, they said, "Listen first, then think, then act, wisely, if possible." I listened to my heart and travelled extensively, thought about the many wonders of the world and wisely chose the partner of my lifetime. Happily, we call New York our home, and through our sons we've made many lifetime friends in the community .
