A Little Bit About Me....

I am an Old Lyme Native having grown up in town, attending Lyme-Old Lyme Schools, working at my families Garden Center business for years, and being involved in the community. Having lived here so long, I can show you the “In’s” and “Out’s” of the Shoreline towns. I am familiar with the beaches, local communities, shops, restaurants, and what each town has have to offer. I am friendly, outgoing, and hard working. I love to play golf, warm weather, gardening, and animals. I have a rescue dog and rescue cats that keep me busy and grounded.

I am a member of the Lymes' Youth Service Board, and the Child and Family Agency. These two agencies provide numerous services and programs to the community. We offer services from pre-natal to graduation and beyond. Activities include after school programs, counseling, fund raisers, holiday parties, family support, and more. This are both terrific agencies that are very active and beneficial to the town. A great feature about these programs for me is meeting new people and making new friends.

My goal in Real Estate is to find the best value and fit in a home for you. I want you to feel comfortable and confident when making this big purchase for a home. I will educate you on the housing market, the buying process, and be with you throughout the whole transaction. If Selling your home, I will work hard to get you the best price possible. Marketing your home and getting the greatest exposure, via the internet, print media, emails, mailers, and more. Great advertising will drive in buyers from all directions to get you the highest and best price. Once we have your house under contract, I can assist with all of your needs; movers, carpenters, painters, cleaners, etc... and see you through this big transition.

Education and Training

I grew up on Old Lyme, attending Lyme-Old Lyme Schools. After graduating I went to Ithaca College, Ithaca NY, receiving a Bachelors degree in Recreation and Business. I worked at Amelia Island Plantation, Amelia Island, FL in the recreation department, developing, and running programs for large businesses and children.

I moved back to Old Lyme, and expanded and ran my families Landscape, Garden Center business working there for over 20 years. I worked heavily in the retail garden center, the growing, design, and implementation of gardens and landscape design. This is a great business, interacting with customers, and working in a "happy" environment.

I decided to get into real estate after doing several house "flips", and needing a job easier on my back. I joined Coldwell Banker and have found great colleagues, and training programs here. I went on to get my GRI designation (Graduate of Realtor Institute), an in-depth training of real estate issues, and my, At Home with Diversity Certification. This is a comprehensive training about discrimination and diversity in race, economics, housing, and everyday life.
