Let me introduce myself, and my family. I have lived on Long Island my entire life, and so have 5 generations of my family.
Beginning with my great-great grandmother who moved to Queens from midtown Manhatten in the 40's. My grandparents came to Babylon in the 50's and established a fruit store in the 60's, A&M Fruit in the heart of Great Neck which was family owned until the late 90's. Several years ago my uncle began a small business of his own in the Mt. Sinai area, and I now have my business. Both of our businesses continue to grow and contribute to our community. I view my involvement in the real estate field as my personal contribution to our community.
From Great Neck, where my grandparents owned our fruit store to Montauk where I have enjoyed many family vacations, and a wedding or two ! I take great pleasure and pride in showcasing homes on Long Island. I personally enjoy time spent with my family, and showing my young son all that all Long Island has to offer. I enjoy everything Long Island offers from the Hamptons Children Mueseum, the Republic Airpower Mueseum in Farmingdale, Tanner Park, or evenings spent at the Jones Beach Boardwalk.
I have the pleasure of working in Babylon Village, and my son attends a wonderful pre-school Alphabet Kids right on Main St, you can find us in the afternoons stealing some downtime walking around the village chatting about what he learned!
Exploring the island with my son brings me to many different communities, and I meet wonderful people and families. As I expand my knowledge of the Island I have the pleasure of experiencing what area has to offer first hand from parks, to things as simple as the local post office the people I meet give me the inside scoop!

About My Real Estate Career
My name is Kristin Schuster, I am a Long Island Real Estate with an office in Babylon Village. I have been fortunate in that I have come into the real estate field at a point in time when many factors have contributed to making homes more affordable. This presents tremendous opportunities for both buyers and sellers.
My background in sales has instilled in me the importance of hearing not only what my client wants but what they need whether it is a school district or specific community program. I make it my first priority to get to know my buyers. My reserach to find just what they are looking for is time well spent. This is the foundation on which your home buying experiance will be built.
I believe it is also very important to provide my sellers with a steady stream of information to keep them informed about the marketing and showings of their home. The process of selling your home can be overwhelming. In an effort to make it less stressful I believe that constant communication with sellers, prospective buyers, and other agents goes a long way.
I firmly believe that the creation of a long-term relationship is far more valuable than any single transaction. People trust me with their most-valuable assets. It's a responsibility I take very seriously, I know that your success is my success.
Communities I Serve
Having been born and raised in the Town of Babylon, I know many of the neighborhoods by not only their given names but by the landmarks that they are associated with both past and present. Deer Park Avenue used to be a 2 lane dirt road that would take days travel now takes only minutes ! Many young couples have shared their wedding day with the Village, as they took their wedding photos along Argyle Lake. The office of Coldwell Banker Residential Homes is located in the heart of of the village of Babylon, in what many know as the Marion Clark dress shop.
Islip Township, The Wildlife Preserve, and the Bayard Arboretum is some of the many educational attractions found in Islip. If you prefer views of the Great South Bay, you will enjoy the beautiful beaches and marinas in this South Shore community, without having to travel far from your new home. The business district for the town of Islip extends North where you will find lavish offices, businesses, and the MacArthur Airport, a wonderful place to begin or expand your business.
If your a fan of performing than you may like the Patchogue Theatre in the heart of the village built in 1923, it is still in use. The town itself is currently undergoing some major upgrades, it is restoring 5 wonderful buildings and adding Co-Ops and apartments right in the village. You will also soon be seeing them begin work on the community courtyard that will be used for community events.
This historic village of Northport, where the trolley tracks still run down Main Street with a beatuful view of the Long Island Sound. On a clear day you can see from Conneticut from the bluffs of Kings Park, or you can explore the nature trails that run along the waterfront. There are beautiful homes set amongst the hills in the communities such as Fort Solanga, Kings Park, East Northport or Northport Village.
I make it a priority to take the time to preview homes all over Suffolk County to stay informed about our communities !
