My Experience...

My work experience truly had a basic nuts and bolts beginning working in my parent's hardware store in Georgia. Since then, I have lived in four states and reinvented myself in the work force holding various positions including food service manager, accounting assistant, preschool teacher and paraprofessional educator in the Hamden Public Schools.  This professional potpourri has provided numerous opportunities for interpersonal relationships, negotiations, creative expressions and fiscal management.  As a Realtor, I rely daily on these skill- and you can too!

My Community Involvement...

History has always fascinated me.  We need to embrace our past and learn from it to move forward in the future.  I am currently the State Historian for the Connecticut Daughters of the American Revolution.  The DAR is an international service organization that promotes Patriotism, Education, and Historic Preservation.  As an organization, we support nine schools across the USA, numerous programs for our active military men and women, devoted support for our veterans and provide support for preserving our Nation's history and natural resources.  At the local level, I am a Past Chapter Regent for the Mary Clap Wooster Chapter in New Haven.  Our chapter locally supports Veterans at Wreaths Across America, Veteran's Awareness Day, Forgotten Heros a transitional home for Veterans returning to civilian life and numerous ongoing projects.   We also sponsor scholarships, and host an annual good citizen's program for area schools.

My Lifelong Interests...

Music is food for my soul - all types.  I also love sports!  My love for sports began as a child playing all the backyard games of football, baseball and basketball.  Now, I am a much better spectator than an athlete.  I was a fanatic fan for whatever football team my sons were playing for; both played in college.  My older son also played arena football.  As for baseball, I am a converted Yankee fan.  My husband and I enjoy going to the games as often as we can.
