Finding a home is not accomplished in isolation of overall goals. Listening to your clients comes first. I spent over twenty years in Clinical Social Work assisting people with many issues. My background provides a unique perspective for assisting clients in regard to their real estate needs. Many things come up after clients are in their new homes. I want them to feel free to call with questions anytime! A strong foundation and continuing education are important goals for me. I have a BA in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Social Work; Mediation training and post-Master's courses. In the Real Estate industry, I am always striving to expand my knowledge base.

Having been a Social Worker for many years giving back to the community is important to me. I have been involved with Habitat for Humanity as a part of that endeavor. I am an active Rotarian, and a member of the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce. Communities I serve include Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess and Orange counties. I also have an expanded network both Nationally and Internationally. Our office charity is Friends of Karen.

With this goal in mind I take every opportunity to attend programs that may enhance my knowledge, add to my technical skills and, therefore, enhance the real estate experience for buyers and sellers. I spent over 20 years assisting families, individuals and children in both the public and private sectors. My experience as a School Social Worker allowed me to assist children in both the mainstream as well as Special Education programs. I was able to foster family relationships within the school setting through my development of a District-wide parent support program which continues many years after leaving my job.
