Each town has its own unique character: Greenwich, if you like city life but still want to live in the country and enjoy shopping, restaurants,beaches and golf; Stamford a city that offers lots of night life no matter what your age along with their own Thanksgiving Day parade to rival Macys; Darien has a small town feeling with many activities for families, including two beaches, town boat club, playgrounds and parks; New Canaan is a great walking town with many popular stores on Main Street and Waveny Park which is home to hiking trails and the town pool; Norwalk has a smaller city feeling than Stamford with its own seaport and Maritime Aquarium and beach; Westport is smaller than Greenwich with a smaller city feel with all the wonderful amenities for families including a town golf course, beach and town pool. All the towns have fabulous restaurants and shopping including the Town Center Mall in Stamford.
