Commack is a unique hamlet dating all the way back to the Secatogue Indians. At the turn-of-the-century it was known as a rural area with fertile soil and abundance of game. Today, families live here from generation to generation.  Commack is known as a caring community with the traditional family values of personal growth and development.The Blue Ribbon schools of the Commack area are intensely focused on education and athletics.  The Districts supports 4 primary schools, 2 intermediate schools, 1 middle school and 1 high school
With easy access to all parkways and expressways, everything that Long Island has to offer is available either to the north, south, east or west.
