About Our Office:
Great Neck has a proud and rich history. From its settlement in the 1600’s into the 19th century, Great Neck was almost exclusively farms and orchards. It then became a small center of commerce.
Today, Great Neck houses both many large estates of the 1870’s as well as new developments. The Great Neck area is connected to New York City by the Long Island Railroads Port Washington Branch.
A single one room schoolhouse was adequate until after the Civil War. Today, Great Neck schools are rated among the top in the country. Its students have been frequent finalists in the Intel Science Talent Search and have been listed in Newsweek magazine’s Top 1200 American High Schools. Great Neck is also the home of the United States Merchant Marine Academy.
